Mujer Talento Moves to La Ceja: New Location, Same Purpose

That's right, WE HAVE A NEW LOCATION!
With great joy, we share this exciting news: Mujer Talento has a new home in the heart of La Ceja, Antioquia. This scenic, vibrant town, just an hour's drive from Medellín, marks the start of a new chapter in our journey. Join us in prayer as we step into this new adventure. God is doing amazing things through Mujer Talento!
“We are changing the territory, but not our purpose.” With this move to La Ceja, our vision has expanded in ways we never imagined.
After six months of exhaustive searching for the perfect space to grow, God has surprised us by providing the ideal location to continue our mission of “Transformation with love.”
“Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.” — Isaiah 54:2-3
Addressing New Challenges
Now in our new location, we are tasked with facing new challenges. The population of La Ceja and its surrounding villages is very vulnerable and has a lot of needs:
Many mothers, who are heads of households, lack resources to support their families.
The newer generations are repeating patterns of abuse, both physical and sexual.
Girls and boys are left home alone without responsible caregivers, putting them in vulnerable situations.
Poverty has brought critical issues such as alcoholism, drug addiction, and more.
These realities drive us to act with love, faith, and purpose.
Continuing the Work From a New Location
As we move to our location, we're excited to continue with the work we've lovingly carried out since 2019. We are currently finalizing the details of a new alliance with SENA in Eastern Antioquia and once our new headquarters are ready, we will launch our clothing manufacturing training program in La Ceja. Even before announcing the program, we already have 30 eager and qualified participants pre-registered and ready to begin this transformative journey in clothing manufacturing training.

Finally, we want to express our deepest gratitude to the incredible volunteers who served our mission at our Niquitao headquarters. Their dedication, love, and hard work have been instrumental in elevating Mujer Talento to the next level. They have run the extra mile with us, and have been of great support for the women of the foundation and their families on this amazing journey of transformation.
We love them and bless them, and our doors will always be open for them in La Ceja, Antioquia.
